If you're experiencing performance issues:

Launching through Linking: Cable, Air, Steam Link VS Virtual Desktop

Walkabout Mini Golf does not officially support Virtual Desktop as an official method of streaming our game. While users may find successful playtime sessions using this paid third party app, we cannot guarantee the quality of gameplay nor can we guarantee that users will not encounter any bugged behavior due to streaming avenue choice. If players encounter issues while streaming through Virtual Desktop they will be guided to use an official streaming method.
For Quest users, we recommend launching SteamVR via the Steam Link app.

Verifying your game files is an easy step to ensure everything's above board.

To do this, you'll need to right-click the Walkabout game app from your library. Click on the 'Properties' tab. Go to "Installed Files", then click "verify integrity of game files" to ensure corrupted files aren't an issue.

Verifying game files (listed above) can help with DLC access issues. Manually uninstalling and reinstalling DLC is also an easy way to troubleshoot access.
To do this, you'll need to right-click the Walkabout game app from your library. Click on the 'Properties' tab. Go to "DLC", then you can toggle the install checkbox on/off or see the status there.

A guest may use a lender’s DLC, but only if the guest does not own the base game. If the guest owns Walkabout and is using Family Sharing with a lender who owns Walkabout DLC, the guest will not be able to access them.
Please note that users utilizing Family Sharing cannot simultaneously launch the same game.

Our team knows that our SteamVR players have been wanting earnable Steam Achievements to be tied to our game. We are actively working on getting this added in a future update. We appreciate your patience in the meantime.
